Death and life

"Without the awareness of death, everything is ordinary, trivial. It is only because death is stalking us that the world is an unfathomable mystery."

  1. The world would be pretty mysterious either way. Eternal life, however, would get old after a while.

  3. It's hard to test this theory since no one really knows what life would be like without death. All I know is that young children have a lot of passion and curiosity for life, long before they become conscious of the fact of death.
