Mental "toughness" without physical support equals frustration.

  1. Deep thought. One with some personal experience, I fear? The human body has weaknesses - as does the mind. To be strong in every area is the ideal - and yet, a difficult achievement. I think if I were forced to choose I would chose mental strength, because my physical self is dying every day, and one day will give out completely... I have seen strong minds in weak frames, and weak minds in strong frames. Both are a sad condition!

  2. thanks melody. you are perfectly right to mention "personal experience".
however, i believe strong mind in a weak frame still exist, as i still consider myself as "strong", even though not by many others' eyes. however, if i wanted to prove that i can do this or do that, in order to show my "strength" in front of people, i would have no doubt it will lead "frustration". so i guess the word of "mental toughness" can really defined from multiple views.
i guess, the frustration really comes from the unacceptance of our physical weakness. i think that's what i really wanted to tell.
